I'm stuck in the sticks without my car for 30 hours, snow outside and ice-rain pouring down.

I wish 20-minutes would change the one-ad-spot one has to watch to get access to what ever EF-ers linked to. It's been the same for months now |

Silk handkerchiefs - useless. Found one the other day in our household... Not practical at all. So why anyone would make and sell them? Or.. Buy them??? They are only good for dropping from a horse-drawn carriage awash in some perfume in the 19th century...
(Yes, there will be an interrogation of the OH re: what the heck???) |

Trying to explain to toddlers that although the sun is shining and the sky is blue, more than 10 minutes outside WILL turn them into human Popsicles.

Just dress them up and send them out to play - they'll get the message pretty quickly. | Quote: | | | | | It will be just today, tomorrow and Wednesday... | | | | | You do realise that today is Tuesday? And while it might warm up some, it's still going to be below freezing here with some snow forecast. Not due to get above freezing until late on Saturday.
