I'm learning more about windows, bricks, plumbing, flooring, etc. than I care to.

We hired an architect, an interior designer and a general contractor, but I am that person who wants to be sure I understand what is being done and why to the "T" before it is done.

It must be done, but I hate it. House renovation/beautification projects suck.

Oh year, FWP2 - this city girl is moving to a house in the suburbs. With desperate housewives-type streets and minivans. Minivans!!!!

Try reading JoJo Moyes on a similar subject:

Re: The First World Problem Thread

So it is Friday and I worked all the possible hours, coming back home and looking forward to having one of my seasalt caramel/cherry/mint chocolate mixes. To find out I ran out of milk.

So. it's the weekend.

This means that all and every EFer will either be in a Spa or on a plane somewhere long or short-term.

It gets a bit lonely here in Zurich sometimes.

Cows are normally milked around 5pm - in summer at 4 pm or is it the other way around?

However, MC posted at 19.55h .... no more milk today

I'll be around, but I might not be on EF the whole time. If you're that bored come to Bern. It's really exciting here.

That sounds like FUN! (not the desperate house-wife bit). If it wern't in Trump-land I'd offer to take the job.
Seconded. Just applying the final touches to mine and I'd love to do another project now that I finally have my 'dream team' of trades people and contacts. I could send them all over to BokerTov, but you can't have my electrician. *If I were 30yrs younger and single, and he wasn't extremely happily married with 3 kids...*

You, guys, are so creative. I don't know how to milk a cow? Only myself and that's a moot.

It is 6am and I still got no milk, ha.

It is going to be a gorgeous day, who cares for hot chocolate.

Awww, man!
Somehow I forgot to eat today. And shopping doesn't seem to be in fashion anymore either. So I wish I had your problem right now.

My OH, and both of his brothers, leave all the cupboard doors and drawers open in their kitchens. Their mother says "It's a disease".

A huge one.

The recipe for happiness: A)Someone to love, B)something to do, C) something to look forward to.

Sobeit has just been deprived of C) by virtue of having been served the perfect cup of tea, so anticipation of that is now gone. Presumably, C) was served by some form of A) who has now paradoxically reduced Sobeit's level of happiness, which eliminates A) as A).

Cheer up Sobeit, at least you still have EF.

Articulately put JayWaugh. : -)

I’m happy - contrary to your thoughts. Maybe the perfect cup of tea wasn’t so perfect.
