I cannot get the spa chlorine smell out if my hair. Is there a spa with no chlorine...anywhere?

Do mud baths have chlorine in? How about beer spas (like the ones in Czech Rep.)?

Is it just me being grumpy with age or are younger folk getting more stupid? I asked my manager and he suggested it was cause and effect.
Just to be clear, I asked whether he meant that my grumpiness was causing stupidity among the young or whether my grumpiness was caused by idiocy. Not only did he indicate the latter, but quoted me in a conversation he had later.
So - are younger folk becoming ever more stupid? Notwithstanding the supremely smart young people who are my children and yours?

STEM education is in some ways a move away from a wider world view, and the curriculum has far too little "hands on". The internet can only virtualize some information.
My daughter "learnt" about electricity from an online app, the physics teacher did 3 experiments with real equipment, and blew it up in one experiment. But rather than explain what went wrong just referred the kids to the explanation in the coursebook.
Jesus wept, it took me an afternoon with a battery, a couple of light bulbs, and a DVM to cover everything they did in a semester of classes with her.

That feeling of a loose connection or the wire getting unexpectedly hot in the case of this experiment.
What can go wrong is also an important part of learning.

Those cought smoking had to hold hands while he charged current to water filled sink and the kids had to dip their hands in.
I bet some apps help visualize to some students better than irl demonstration the way the youth is rewired these days, but I am all for the real deal, too. The division between stem x humanities is only kept by obviously underfunding the typically hum fields. Otherwise, the divide is no really longer there, hopefully. I am compensating a lot in linguistics, philo, art, psych and history by homeschooling as it is, and I think loads of envolved parents are. Not leaving stuff up to the system - it is not a bad idea. I wonder if Soviets deliberately taught crap at schools to envolve the parents at home, lol. | Quote: | | | | | I know of a nice little hidden away skinny dipping hot springs up in the Olympic mountains of Washington that has no chlorine. | | | | | I have been in quite a few, too. Jefferson baths were so gross and amazing. Gunky. It fills one up with that glee of a 5yr old being completely dirty and warm and happy. Although it is probably quite clean, actually. But never been to WA, will happen one day. Beautiful place.

I am too tired to eat my soup I just cooked.
Tomorrow I will bake savory cakes - spinach and smoked trout with fresh herbs, parsley, chives and basil, to accompany my tomato/cheddar soup. I don't think I will have the actual time to eat much, though, this movie festival frenzy kills our weekend lounging and heavenly lollygagging. C'est la vie. Bring it.
I also learned buttered rhum recipe, might give it a go again, although the last time it tasted too..skii-ish, log-cabiney. Wintery. But voilà, it is not 100% full blown spring yet, is it?

Not that I am a beer drinker at all, actually. But it's been a hot thing to do the past decade back home. Ick.
I'd prefer kefir spa.
