A good buy at the Brocki (charity shop) a few days ago: a set of 6 luxury mugs.
Went online today, just for the fun of finding out what they cost new.
Just as I was wanting to smile at how very good my deal had been, the jets for the air-show flew by, and I drew in my breath sharply. Unfortunately, at that moment I was drinking hot chocolate, so I ended up having to clean my keyboard, mouse and screen.

Coop no longer sells New Castle Brown Ale!
And Landi (in general, not just one shop) ran out of bottling jars and have no idea when they will be delivered again. In the harvest season

My passport is up for renewal in November this year, so it'll be another 10 years before I get a "Blue" passport |

Edit: Passport renewals between late 2019 and early 2020 would be automatically issued with either a blue or burgundy British passport, the Home Office.
Whatever that means |

Somebody mucked up the Trump thread and it's too large now. (As it was not with a picture I wonder how who ever did that).
I hate scrolling sideways.
Great way to get rid of me - wonder how long it takes until all threads are too large |

I keep missing the buttons to flush the toilet as they're at a different place on the new one.
It makes me wonder how much of our lifes is automated. It sure doesn't matter in this case but it might be worth looking at the rest of my life. |

Sort of 'word of the day' + FWP:
'Artisan'! The word has been highjacked by dodgy money-hungry rascals. They make all manner of inferior, bad quality, tasteless old sh*te, stick word 'artisan' on it and charge a huge buck for this.
This has made my FW living problematic, I don't want to offend proper dedicated artisans, but I don't want to finance thieving 'artisan' scoundrels either.

After I never succeeded making pudding using gelatin, I put so much gelatin into the trial today that I ended up with something like ..... memory foam. I'm sure I could sleep on this stuff if it wern't too tiny. |
