Steal them from some other electronic item.

Smoke alarms, for example...
In Switzerland?

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Came back after a whole day of work and found 50 pages of discussions on the 9Feb vote.

They should move swiss referendums on Saturday's so that I can catch-up the 50-pages discussions on Sunday.

Given that we may be booted out in 2017, is it really worth replacing our ancient boiler?

So now that we know we're expecting a boy, we have to find a name for him!

But
a) I have next to zero inspiration for boys' names
b) The rare few I like, OH hates them (and vice versa)

Suggest to OH that you create a poll on EF and the name that wins is your new little man.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Sitting on the deck in front of the Burj in Dubai. The waiter is trying to take our picture but the wind is blowing in such a manner that our hair is blowing across our face.

If we turn so our hair is blowing back, the Burj is not centered behind us and it will make the picture look weird.

The dilemma: crazy hair or off-center background? I swear. The things I have to deal with.

We had an hard time to find a boy name too. So we each made a list of names and gave it to the other person. We scratched all the names we didn't like except 3 we liked most in that list.

We put them back together (the 6 left) and worked with that until the last 3. For the last 3, I told my husband to do the final cut since I was the one who did it for our daughter's name.

Hope it helps.

No Mirfield's the name of a crappy little town in West Yorkshire. Nobody in their right mind would call their kid that.

I could ask my eldest son to help us find a name, but for his sister he had suggested Barbapapa!

Chocky snob problem!

more chocolate = better so for a while there i lived happily 'knowing' ragusa noir was the best

then i discovered their milk version, and had to climb down / rethink my chocolate theory.

and just today saw this on the shelves! welcome to their crack version of chocolate! (ragusa have cracked the magic formula of fat and sugar that = crack cocaine)
