I made cookies. The recipe said it yielded 40 cookies. I got 68 rather large cookies! I will have to sacrifice and eat them, I guess.

I dream of having a dyson too.

But somehow I can't bear spending such a big amount of money for a cleaning apparatus!

Don't get one of the cool hangy-up ones. They look good, and they're ok for dust and fluff, but won't pick up anything extremely heavy, such as a Peanut M&M.

Decided to do the i.OS update for my phone in a short break before a meeting. It's taking so long I won't have time for a go on Candy Crush.

Our facilities manager at work writes stern notices and warnings in a "Comic Sans" font thus detracting from their authoritative tone.

Everybody is switching in or out of daylight savings time at different dates, and so I have to keep looking at the "World Clock" app on my phone to figure out if it's an appropriate time to call my family members and loved ones in Europe and South America!

I got given a KitKat to go with my coffee, but I'd have preferred a Penguin.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I hate getting out of bed to switch the lights off at night.

I replaced my bulbs with ones I can control via my smartphone.

Now I don't have to get out of bed any more.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I have a problem finding a good enough reason to get out of bed in the mornings. Well, eventually I do get out of bed, only because there`s no-one to bring me my coffee! I find this a very good reason to get out of bed.

If I make the bed, then I won`t be likely to return to it.

If I wash my face and brush my teeth, and my hair, and get dressed, then it`s almost guaranteed I`ll not return to bed.

But once I`ve drunk my coffee, I have a problem deciding whether or not to turn on my computer, or do something else.

My life is SO difficult, with all this control I have to exert daily.
