Re: The First World Problem Thread

Waiting on a full platform for the tl m1*, and the m1 pulls up.

The service is only a single carriage, not a double carriage.

* Lausanne metro, m1 line

My super efficient and discrete under-floor heating makes my feet feel uncomfortably warm.

On brief I think.

Teotonio has no particular reputation at present
Re: The First World Problem Thread

Hey, why not.

Now I am too rich to continue leaving in (almost) any truly European country or go back home, and have to surround myself with professionals that I am having a hard time to find and I am not even very eager to have to deal with. Even worse, I am not rich enough to find good enough professionals that would allow me to do the same while living where I'd really fancy on any given moment.

On top of that, the average Joe would find all this very nasty of me... Nice!

The free Espresso machine near my cubicle doesn't have milk I have to walk 100m and down 1 floor to find one that can do a latte.

And they turn it off at 16.00

My designer handbag (note singular) doesn't match my winter boots. Now all the other women of leisure are going to think that we are poor and my status in the pecking order is jeopardized. What to do???

Which one is it, so I can avoid?

What are you doing there, btw...

(Ok, that was a rhetorical question.)

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Lufthansa fed me so much delicious food and wine on my business class red eye flight last night that I didn't have room for the box of chocolates that they provided at the end of service.

I tucked them into the little pouch under my personal TV screen and forgot them when I left. Bon appetit, cleaning service person!

Practically (and mentally) the year is over in the office for me now but theoretically I need to clock those remaining two weeks as a good principle.
