I was so busy today that I missed the Friday afternoon thread.
Then I came home.
And found out that there was no Friday afternoon thread.

Shipping my skis cost more than buying a new pair. I hate my life.

I got approved for a C permit even though I asked for another B permit.

Now I need to do my own taxes!

I pay hardly anything anyway so would go from a pittance to a bit more than a pittance.

Waiting on a full platform for the tl m1*, and the m1 pulls up.

The service is only a single carriage, not a double carriage.

* Lausanne metro, m1 line

My super efficient and discrete under-floor heating makes my feet feel uncomfortably warm.

On brief I think.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Hey, why not.

Now I am too rich to continue leaving in (almost) any truly European country or go back home, and have to surround myself with professionals that I am having a hard time to find and I am not even very eager to have to deal with. Even worse, I am not rich enough to find good enough professionals that would allow me to do the same while living where I'd really fancy on any given moment.

On top of that, the average Joe would find all this very nasty of me... Nice!

The free Espresso machine near my cubicle doesn't have milk I have to walk 100m and down 1 floor to find one that can do a latte.

And they turn it off at 16.00

Re: The First World Problem Thread

My designer handbag (note singular) doesn't match my winter boots. Now all the other women of leisure are going to think that we are poor and my status in the pecking order is jeopardized. What to do???
