Spent two weeks at my parents and now my 5 year old 42'' TV, which I was quite happy with before, looks like a sea of grey (instead of black) pixels

We went chateau shopping in central France last weekend and every single one that I really liked was already owned by the republique. I am so discouraged.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

bloody cablecom box is broken again so I cannot use my 55" plasma TV. Now I have to go down to the basement and fire up my home theatre and use my sky box to watch the EPL but the 100" screen means I will get a head and neck ache trying to follow the football, and the fridge is too far upstairs so no beers until halftime. Damn cablecom!

I have no idea why someone would use cablecom when they have access to sky!

I have to use the balcony as a fridge, as our three four fridges and stand alone freezer simply aren't enough for the two of us!

While planning the 2014 annual family vacation, we are questioning whether or not an 18-month-old grandchild will truly appreciate everything an African safari has to offer. It's a dilemma, I tell you.

Make sure you book an airline that allows infants in the lounge. Not all airlines do.

Not nearly as upsetting as finding out you only have 130 tv channels in the basic package from your provider.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

My BH invited spontaneously guests. Normally I'm not antisocial and I like such visits. But this time I wasn't prepared hence caught off guard. It wasn't planned and in calendar. I feel like deep inside I'm becoming like a Swiss. I don't wanna be like that ... (FWP)

I am always pissed that there are NO grocery stores that work 24-7 and/or church holidays.

it's more of a serbian world problem but it's the first world problem type of comfort i require i guess

Ugh, I'm so annoyed they don't sell Lindt at the Migros in front of our apartment. Now we are forced to go all the way to Coop to buy some...
