You and Jesus both must get a lot of those 2 for 1 gifts (birthday and Christmas, but just one present!). I feel bad for the both of you.
Thank you. At last, someone who understand our predicament.

Life isn't fair.

There is no food left in the fridge because my guests eat like Americans.

There is no space in our fridge because we shop like Americans but don't eat like them.

I had to queue outside the Tiffany's store for 45 mins at the Bahnhofstrasse last week before buying my wife a Christmas present! However, they did offer alcoholic punch and biscuits while queuing so the time I entered the store everything seemed so blurred!

Re: The First World Problem Thread

After a hard morning's packing, I was really looking forward to having the last of the Christmas nut roast in a sandwich with some Branston pickle. I had just sat down with my feet up when Dear Husband returned from walking the dogs.

Being a Good Wife, I immediately got up to make him a nice cup of tea - and came back into the living room two minutes later to find the Vile and Evil Labrador scoffing down my sandwich.

So lesson for the future, Let the husband get his own damn tea.

It occurs to me that outside of the Permits category, pretty much every thread discussing complaints/problems on the English Forum is a first world problem
