It happened to me yesterday too. Was it the same toilet?
Ergh, I feel for you guys. I started to check first before ahem, doing anything...apparently somebody is eating it!..and forgets to put a new roll in place.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I was making a biscuit base (you know - blitzed biscuits with melted butter) for a lime pie, but couldn't find any digestive biscuits (or as they say in the UK, Hob Nobs) in Migros.

I had to settle for these: https://produits.migros.ch/m-budget-biscuit-rond
Turned out fine, but I miss the somewhat more oatmeal-ish flavour of digestives, which would have likely been a nicer complement to the lime filling. I now also have about 100 g left over of said biscuits which taste a bit like an inferior version of shortbread.

What should I have purchased / looked for / used instead?

I physically remove the caps-lock on my keyboards because it annoys me too much (yes, I know one can do it in software but we don't have admin permissions on our workstations and is easier than putting in the change request). idem for right Windows and menu keys.

Cancelling a holiday and losing 450chf as the non-refundable part (having booked "economy" instead of "saver-economy" in order to upgrade).

Then realising 6 weeks later the gold credit card includes travel insurance including cover for this sort of thing

Mileagebargains never have flights to places I want to go to nor are that much of a bargain compared to the rarely available business class seats when flying as a couple (2*70k vs 1*105k + 1*52.5k)

I was rudely awoken this morning by machines digging my neighbour's new pool.
I never had these problems when I was living in the ghetto
