If I sleep with the window closed, I simply can't cope nor sleep without fresh air.. but if it's open, I wake up with narrow slits for eyes, itchy eyes, and it feels like I've been kicked in the head.

I open up the windows at night, my wife closes them ... open, close, open close ... ad nauseam.

If we had lived in a windowless Third World clay hut, there wouldn't have been an issue.
My husband belongs to that awfully irritating group of people who think that a little bit of cold air in winter leads to a flu or at least a bad cold. I, on the other hand, have a scientific mind, and can't sleep with a closed window, whatever the temperature outside. This leads to pretty intense fights in winter! luckily I always win

Hosiery.

100 denier looks too much, sometimes 60 or 40 is not enough. Do you take a spare pare in case of snagging? What if one leg gets all twisted as you pull them on? Then you just fidget all day, because they never sit right afterwards even if you readjust.

It's all just too hard and a reminder as to why I habitually wear jeans.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I broke the car key in half, 400km into Italy, and didn't have a spare.

After my AXA breakdown insurance failed to pick up the phone, I recalled my similar experiences with RFID keys on my bikes, shoved the bits back together, and it started.

Tomorrow I will buy some superglue.

please don't share this first world problem with people that have to work today

you have:
- a day off
- nice weather
- low taxes

we have another day at work

I've just bought a shiny new 4k camera and now I need a new PC to render the mahoosive, high bit-rate files.

I hadn't thought of that

Have to wait twenty minutes for my glorious 1961 coffee machine boiler to heat / pressure up, so logged onto EF as I've absolutely nothing else to do with my time.

Was in the same place with both Blocher and Mörgeli and crowd didn't throw eggs* at neither. OK, no one batted an eye at their presence, no bodyguards, no special attention. I wonder how Trump would have faired in the same situation.

*Possibly because shops are closed on Sunday in CH.
