Re: The First World Problem Thread

I can't get all the felt pen off my daughter's hands. On the plus side, I got it off the dog, who is now rolling in the grass in the dark to get rid of the smell of baby wipes.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I clicked on the 'More Smilies Options' link in the reply-to-post window and the pop-up didn't automatically optimise in my screen, so I had to do it manually by moving my cursor and clicking on the Maximise icon which kinda sucked THEN I had to Close the pop-up by scrolling my cursor to the bottom of the screen and click again. Can hardly be bothered.

Special reserved parking bays for women, Smart cars, the disabled and now electric cars.
So where am I supposed to park my evil, fossil fuel burning POS

Re: The First World Problem Thread

On the train to work this morning got aboard the first 1st class car I saw.

It was virtually empty.

then I saw there was a sign that due to shortage of second class cars, people with sceond class tickets may sit her.

I decided to get up and walk to the next car.

Whatever is Switzerland coming to these days?

My iPad wouldn't download a game over 100MB with mobiledata, so I had to use my mobile phone as a hotspot to download it.

FWP 1
Replaced a parking sensor on the X3 in 25mins and for a cost of 19chf. I ordered 3 sensors as they fit a couple of cars - but the car has done >200k km so I'm not sure I'll ever need them.

FWP 2
Transfer case fluid is BMW specific so I'll have to pay BMW prices

Day 6 and the buffet at our all inclusive resort is starting to become tedious. What I wouldn't give for a bowl of cornflakes in the evening.

In a related story:
Ritz Carlton Singapore buffet and we'd finished off the last of the large langostines on the buffet. They came back with a fresh platter of them (12).

Half an hour later we had to ask them to refesh the platter again.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Was not able to listen to Theresa May's first PMQ as my 7 year old, on school holidays, and instead of concentrating on building her rocket ship in the garden, was very busy talking over the tv as to whether Theresa is doing a better job than David.. told me that J. Corbyn has the exact same suit as Mr. Bean and even their ties are the same colour..

Supervising rocket ship take off, will watch May's question time later tonight

Will never forget the time mine said at that age "Mummy, your eyes have stars in them". That's how I felt (still do) looking at her.

Sorry, wrong thread.
