Does anyone know if there is anything happening in Bern for Australia Day?

Or have information to who I can ask? I tried to contact the Australia and New Zealand club a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard back.

If there are any Aussies in Bern that would like to do something please let me know also, prehaps we can arrange a gathering.

Just giving this thread a bump as Australia Day is this weekend.

Could you recommend a decent pub or similar location that Aussies could meet for Australia Day?


the Oliver Twist in Zurich has it nailed as far as I'm concerned. Pub run by an Aussie, meat pies, VB if you like that sort of thing, it's all good.

People from Bern are usually sledged for being slow....... so you wouldn't want add Aussies in Bern to the list now would you?

Looks like it's a no goer this year in Bern. Next year I will make the trip to Zurich and check out Olivers Twist. It sounds like fun.
