Not everything, when it comes to storage, is black and white.

I am looking for longer term storage - around 6 months for 35m3 of furniture. Is this the type of thing that you can do?

I recenltly helped somebody move their clutter into a Zebrabox storage unit and I have to say, that I was impressed with the level of custmer service, the modern facilities and the ease it was to rent a box. I didn't even think that it was too pricey and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anybody seeking a storage unit.

Yeah, I rented a ZebraBox at Alschwil for about 8 months. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. They talked me out of a bigger and more expensive box that I though I needed and they were right. It was always easy to get stuff in and out; plenty of trolleys, pallet carts and car parking.
One month's notice of cancellation by phone or email is also decent by Swiss standards.

Hi,
Is anyone having an idea about the price range?
do we then have a key of the storage place or we need to ask customer service each time?
Just to know how easily stuff can be accessed

Just to know how easily stuff can be accessed | | | | | IIRC, an 18 cubic metre box in Basel cost about 220 CHF per month including insurance, but that was a few years ago. You can get a quotation here https://www.zebrabox.ch/en/private/m...tal-in-3-steps.
I had a key to my unit, and an RFID fob which opened the main doors, parking area and turned off my unit's alarm. I think access is limited to something like 06:00 to 22:00 unless you make some sort of arrangement.

We have used Zebrabox both when we moved here a couple of years ago and now that we're leaving. Both hubby and I were impressed with ease of rental, friendly and helpful people, and just a good overall experience! |

Used Zebrabox in Villeneuve for two months before Xmas to bridge our move from Vevey to Aigle. Staff responsive and helpful, spoke English. Facility itself new, secure and fully automated - even with free trolleys to cart the stuff and avoid too much heavy lifting. Was about chf 180/month for 12m3. Since this figure was cubed, this was sufficient to store most things from a 50m2 apartment. Also is incorrect to say that access is limited - you get a key fob and can get in there 24/7. Good value IMHO.
