Spring cleaning tips?

So today is May 1 and we have decided to have a clear out of about 6 years' worth of stuff, a lot of which the kids have grown out of and some of which someone could find useful and some which is junk.

I have tried searching the forum for prior posts on the topic but could not find anything so I'm starting here for any ideas people have. Any ads will go into the market place area.

As a first step we are sorting out the broken useless things for the dump, and there are some newer items in good condition that could be sold. The question is about the vast majority of stuff that is in between; will anyone want 4-5 year old computer games, old british sized bunk beds, and very played with toys etc? Are there charities or other organizations who could use it or it all goes to the dump?

On your way to the dump, you can call at your biggest local Brockenhaus and ask them if they want anything.

Re: Spring cleaning tips?

local supermarkets can be a good place to sell on their notice board if you keep the price right,

I would put old computer games there, state what language they are in.
old British sized bunk beds - put in the measurements - I would tend to put them on EF and the local supermarket

you will need photos in either case

I am thinking things like used toys might be bulky to post (might the end price including postage is high, i.e. lots of money to post, not you or buyer), so if local supermarket(s) people can pick up

No idea about "very played with toys"

There are also ebay and ricardo, but if you are not signed up, do you have the time and language skills. Ricardo is more used within Switzerland.

We have listed items on there for a CHF1.00 with pick up, simple to get item gone
