If you haven't noticed you always come up with something better " In an Asian buffet restaurant in Helsinki, my ten-year old son was billed as an adult after they saw how much he ate" or perceived to be better than the original post, you've done everything, you can fix anything and far better and far cheaper than anybody else
You can do you tax returns better than a qualified accountant, etc etc
That is the definition of oneupmanship, and it fits you as well as OJ's glove fitted | The following 3 users would like to thank for this useful post:

In all seriousness, if you didn't quote Tom1234 you would have made me think of Richdog. | This user would like to thank greenmount for this useful post:

| | | | | Are you some kind of cyber-stalker? You follow me around on this forum making disparaging comments on anything I post.
It's getting a bit creepy to be honest.
Should I have not told my anecdote lest I get your back up?
Or should I have changed it to Wigan and a bag of chips?

Talking to friends from Helsinky this week-end, they were so delighted with Swiss and French restaurant food, and really VERY rude about Finnish food, I have to say.

I thought it was great to get so much fish. | | | | | I really liked the food there too but I guess if you don't like fish ( which fortunately we do) it's a bit more limiting.
I don't really like cheese much so a lot of the Swiss stuff is not very interesting to me.
To each their own I guess. | Quote: | | | | | What freak would name both twins Tom? | | | | | Well the put numbers after the second one so that people knew the difference.

We visited Finland a few years ago - 10 days in Helsinki and Turku. Food was lovely. I ate salmon nearly every day for breakfast, I liked the crunchy breads, and really interesting tea. I guess it's easy to tire of what you have every day.

Yes it is really a shame to see all these people who waste food in the all-inclusive-hotels. And this often happens in countries where the local people struggle with poverty ...
