| | Fresh Mozzarella and Pellegrino in glass bottles
Two things that I really miss from New York are fresh mozzarella that I can count on was made only a few hours before. Also I prefer Pellegrino water in the glass bottles but they only seem to have the plastic ones. The plastic is ugly in the house and ruins the temperature and taste. Where can I easily get these things here in Montreux or Vevey? No more plastic bottles and I want FRESH Mozzarella. The one in Manor was not fresh enough. Restaurants seem to have no problem getting these things.

Sorry, can't help with the Pellegrino (maybe try a liquor store?) but here is a recipe for How to Make Fresh Mozzarella. You can have it as fresh as you want. | This user would like to thank Peg A for this useful post: | |

The mozzarella and ricotta at the Manor are good. You can even get a good burrata.
Try the Aligro for San Pelligrino in glass bottles. | Quote: | | | | | this is not even a first world problem | | | | | What?! Having to deal with ugly plastic bottles in the house is a tragedy!

Nothing like tasting fresh mozzarella. Mozzarella from Manor, Migros or Globus doesn't even come close unfortunately.

I've not bought mozzarella there for some reason, other very good cheese though.
