Emergency: Somebody flying US/New York-Zurich next days?

hello

is there somebody out there who is eventually flying New York or any other US destination back to Zurich in the next 5-8 days?

I have an urgent delivery sticking at FedEx in the US/NJ and the time it takes to get it here is too long plus shipping costs are outrageous! its M&Ms chocolates, bit of bulky item, 2kg, L: 60cm W:40cm H:15cm
we would pay for all airline extra costs/expenses for bulky items etc.

can somebody please help us out?

thx soooo much in advance!

Not sure someone will do this even if it is chocolates and available. Too risky in this modern world however innocent it looks.

Re: Emergency: Somebody flying US/New York-Zurich next days?

and here I worried someone was dying,

Dying to get some M&Ms!

You know, I have the sneaking feeling they taste better here, but that may just be a homesick tongue talking.

Consider junkfood-punkt-ch too.

More seriously, you might be able to find a courier company in the NY/NJ area that does a weekly flight to CH, etc, but that is going to cost a lot more than shipping, even if they are bringing several other items along.

But they could be some of the special edition ones (and/or ones you can't get here). The US has a real love affar with M&Ms.

Heres the thing - if FEDEX really did feck it up I would be expecting them to sort it out - and for it to be delivered on time.

Time to get out a stick to beat them with!

i did! response: address was wrong! how can it be wrong as it was my hotel, my name and concierge knew the fedex knob is meant to drop it off?
FedEx disputes and say: sorry, address was wrong. wtf? and shitty time is running out.

Not wanting to teach Grandma to suck eggs BUT send to them your hotel confirmation and the delivery confirmation (assuming both have the same address on them) - the only issue will be if the supplier ballsed up and misspelt the address. Either way I would be getting one of them to pay for an overnight shipping to Zurich

I've been there and done that. Parcel meant to arrive first day I was NYC - it didn't - and only turned up after I had checked out (5 days later) - but fortunately I was going back after work to collect luggage before shuffling out to the airport - sp was able to pick it up.

The other time I knew something couldn't be shipped to me in time for me to leave to go back to the US. I got them to ship direct to the hotel - calling the hotel and letting them know it would arrive before I did. They didn't bat an eyelid and it was there when I checked in.

"item, 2kg, L: 60cm W:40cm H:15cm"

I would do it but I am not sure I can swallow that much... individual packs maybe. What would my cut be?

Re: Emergency: Somebody flying US/New York-Zurich next days?

TSA: Where and when did you pack your bags?
Mule: This morning, in my hotel room.

TSA: Do you own everything in your bag?
Mule: Ummm. Well, you see... sort of... ah - not really, no.

TSA: The x-ray shows a full package of what looks like pills.
Mule: But the guy said they were just M&M's!

TSA: Come with me please.

anyway - glad you got it sorted.

A friend of mine got pulled aside and interrogated once...for a package of cookies that apparently looked suspicious on the x-ray.

First rule in flying. Never accept goods from someone you don't know. They could be full of crack!
