I think your best bet would be Boots or Superdrug in UK.

Placette (Manor), Grand Passage (Globus) and the larger Coops all sell those brands.
Parfumerie Douglas probably does too, although I can't be totally sure as I've never been into that particular shop.

The last three you can find fairly close together along the main tram route; Rue de la Confedération/Rue du Marché, the first one is near the train station on Rue de Cornavin/Rue de Coutance.

No, we have never seen a lipstick. Make-up is unknown to us Swiss women Jk, sorry, couldn't help myself

Manor carries most of the brands you listed (for sure Maybelline and L'oréal and I think I also saw Nyx in there). http://www.manor.ch/fr/u/store/GEN CoverGirl you can find at every larger Migros.

Re: Where to buy drugstore brands cosmetics please

Honestly, stick with Boots or other UK stores. Cosmetics are pretty expensive here and they aren't amazingly better than what you can get where you are. Sometimes the same brand costs multiples more. One tube of lipstick for 12 Francs. Pfft.

Thaaaat's right

VS at the airport will likely only sell perfumes and cosmetics, just fyi. Just in case you were hoping it was one of the 'real' stores.

Re: Where to buy drugstore brands cosmetics please

Switzerland has pretty much the same brands as the UK but at double the price… not idea why you would want to spend extra money. I stock up in Boots when I am back in the UK.

Thank you all ladies ever so kind for your lovely replies
Think I have enough info to go on

Think I just stick to duty free in the uk

And save rest of money to order online at boots uk

This is very superficial. It starts with a strong implication "where can i buy cheap or cheaper brand cosmetics" and finishes with "I'll buy in UK duty free high end brands"

You flying commercial or private for your mini break ?

Re: Where to buy drugstore brands cosmetics please

All I wanted to ask was if there were any cheap brands
As seen as it's all cheaper in the uk I may aswell buy here
I just wanted some diff make up like cover girl which you cannot buy here
All my make up collection is nearly all high end
What does it matter if flying private or commercial

I'm flying with my husband in club
( his a high up crew member )
Ha ha !!!!!!!

Not saying what !!!!!

So mmmmm maybe that's why I get alot of my high ends cheaper
Being my husband works for a airline !!!!!!

Re: Where to buy drugstore brands cosmetics please

Do you have kiko in the UK? They're reasonably inexpensive compared to MAC and similar brands and decent quality. I like their eye pencils. They're in their own stores. Not sure if there's one where you will be - eye pencils range from chf 4 and up.

Essence is in a lot of stores here. Nice mascara, inexpensive (less than chf 10).

Lots of expensive stuff too.

Just quickly check the high street and online prices before you fly. It might well be that they're cheaper than duty-free for some things.
