Re: Looking for slippers

have you seen warm slippers around in stores lately? I need to acquire some ASAP.
I only do snob, so sorry if you were looking for normal:
The only warm slippers for stylish snobs = manufactum. No alternative worldwide.

They have a good choice of isotoner slippers in Ochsner shoe shops.
Aeschbach (the store I linked to in my post #10) say that too, but as they only list the Geneva and surrounding shops, I'll have to call my local ones and ask if they sell the slippers I am considering in my size. Which OS shops have you seen them in?

Genuine wool ones at Wednesday markets at Kreutzplatz. Bought a pair each for hubby and I. They are comfy, warm, and you can whack them in the washing machine.
Don't they itch? Wool sweaters tend to do that

These.. in red.
I've been looking for a pair like this for long time

Ooooops, that doesn't help you much does it.. sorry.
I'd suggest Aeschbach http://www.aeschbach-chaussures.ch/fr/
Cute, but no frozen toes and heels for me
I found Aeschbach, thanks (see post #10 links) but they don't sell the pair I want in my size )

Ugg boots are a good option if you have a big budget.
Not exactly my style but thanks anyway

Have seen them at the following shops:
Ikea, Manor, Migros, Dosenbach.

If you live in an apartment, do check the sole of the slippers! I had some nice fluffy slippers in the UK, but I can't use them here, as the hard sole are a bit noisy at night (plus I probably walk like an elephant)
Thanks for the advice! I might just have to do a Dosenbach/Manor/Migros trek to find Isotoners!

Isotoners are excellent - very comfortable and fully machine washable (very important).

I got mine in Migros; they even had the (extremely large) size I require (call me Longshanks).
I haven't seen a website on which Migros list their slippers, so I guess I'll have to pop in a large Migros to check this out. Did you find the slippers in the furniture department (micasa), in a do-it or in a regular Migros clothes/household items section?

Just found an unfamiliar pair under my bed whilst doing the weekly tidy up.

Can pop them in the post if they happen to be yours.

Dark blue mocassins!
No, they aren't mine

Re: Looking for slippers

Try Ochsen shoes. All slippers I saw there (and they have a big selection) seemed too warm for me, so there you go =)))
