of course 4 to 6 years old are not taught the way teenagers are! They are not at school either, are they - but that does not mean they are just being 'entertained', doh. Same for reading, skiing, tennis or maths.... or whatever!
Comparable what is known here as
Früh-Englisch
Früh-Französisch
etc
but the coach is judged as if coaching the national team, while possibly just working as a salesman at Inter-Discount and doing this coach-job in his offtime

Wolli- excuse my asking but are you a (ro)bot, by any chance?
(My guess on wolli's reply: robots are not capable of feeling disgust, which i precisely remember feeling on saturday june 3rd 1978)
(Wolli's real reply: june 3rd 1978 was not a saturday)

Just read all the pages, no one yet has suggested you speak to the coach? My advice: speak to the coach!! But my 2 cents; it is unlikely the coach is either anti female or anti English. It's probably in your head, and I mean that in the kindest possible way! I have kids similar ages so I know how it feels as a parent it's hard not to take everything personally. My daughter went to school in the UK for 3 years, and 3 christmases she did not get picked for Mary at the nativity play! 3 times a little voice in my head went "why the f--k didn't they pick her for Mary!" Our default is to feel that way because we want everything for them! That's really what I think, but if you truly believe there is a problem and it's not just your subjective parent bias, then what you really must do is speak to the coach... | This user would like to thank Pixie B for this useful post:

" had a pop at" implies quite the opposite, rather like the whole rant he posted here.

Not all parents think like this, fortunately.

Well good morning people, well some of you have brought a smile to my face this Monday morning, two kids are off to school, made sure we got there FIRST!!
Got to say some of you are not pulling on your ears hard enough, ask someone for help if you need it!!
The saddo that brought Down Syndrome into this, you need a good kick up the arse, with your head still in there!
A couple of you actually get it, so rocken en roll
And off topic a bit but for Football and soccer, it is Football, just read it, it is so simple, it`s in the name Foot and Ball then join them together and you will get Football, not Throw ball a couple of countries play | This user would like to thank Toontoon for this useful post: | | This user groans at Toontoon for this post:

P.S. The clue is in the meaning of FIFA.

The only type of football that doesn't suck is Rugby Football.
Unfortunately, it's not a sport for girls.

Tom | | | | | Would that be rugby league or rugby union?
Au contraire, there are plenty of girls who play rugby and there are women's rugby teams around too. There have been for many years.
