Grumpy Expat Facebook Group

I have come across the best Facebook Group called Grumpy Expat!

If you want a chuckle or even better a good rant to get things off of your chest then this is the place to be

It is open to any ex-pat living in any country and there are quite a number of grumpy "swiss" expats on there. I have found that the members of the group are very supportive and have gathered some great advise too.

Re: Grumpy Expat Facebook Group

The group owner is an expat living in CH.

DESCRIPTION Let's face it, being an Expat can be really hard. Loneliness, homesickness, language barriers, and frustration with the many cultural differences that impact your routine, your social life, your career, your family, and your happiness. I am forming this group so we can be open and honest about our challenges and how we go about solving them. There's a limit to how much "complaining" any of us want to do on the standard expat forums, lest we be told "if you are so unhappy, why don't you just go home?" No one will tell you that here. Instead we will tackle expat frustrations with humour, energy, mutual support, and creative solutions. Feel free to write about your expat experience from anywhere in the world. And by all means, also share the good things, share what you love about being an expat, your funny experiences, the solutions you have found to help you feel just a bit more at home, the wild or wacky encounters you have had. Everyone from every culture or persuasion is welcome to contribute. Invite your grumpy expat friends, and let's go!
