I had high hopes for Pampers this time (European quality and so on)...but they are leaking (and smell like chemical factory...and my daughter has a rush when wearing them - which disappears when she wears Goonies), Liberos are like a cardboard and other brands are like they are made for dolls not for use in real life...

My husband smugglinng Goonies from time to time when he goes to business trips but it is unreal - bringing full suitcase of diapers? ridiculous!

Pampers New Baby (available in sizes 1,2,3) have an indicator line that is very sensitive (even 10gr of urine cause the indicator to change colour).

That does't solve the problem with chemicals.
Parmeps premium are the best, but still far from Merries.

reading this thread a couple years I ago, I also thought it was insane that OP so desperately needed Japanese diapers. Fast forward a few years and we’ve now got a baby girl and were lucky enough to have used Japanese diapers (Goon brand) whilst we were visiting Asia. Gosh, we are hooked. Ended up (in multiple trips) flying back a total of 14 big bags of Japanese diapers ourselves and will be having family members flying more over with each visit

Anyway, just wondering if anyone ever found a place in Switzerland that carries Japanese diapers. Otherwise we are just saving what we have and using them for overnight and for going out, whilst sticking to the Swiss Pampers for day use. Not the end of that world. But it’s unfortunate that Pampers sold here don’t last all night. The true Japanese Pampers sold in Japan do last all night though

I am using cloth diapers (organic cotton) and no problems.

Noticed many saying no issues with pampers. Well my sister's children were getting rashes from pampers and no problems with cloth diapers. More importantly they are carcinogenic.

There are also nicer brands like Naty but I still prefer cloth diapers from the sustainability perspective. I've also been using clothes for cleaning instead of wet-wipes. Easy to wash together with nappies. They also clean much better than any other wipes I tried (pampers aqua pure, wetwipes or eco by naty).

If you are importing Japanese diapers, be sure to pick up a Japanese baby jumpsuit duster at the same time. Such a clever time saving device.
