Occupations in demand in Switzerland

Hello all,

I'm a citizen of Latvia and consider immigration to Switzerland.
I've searched the Web for a list of occupations in demand in Switzerland and couldn't find. May I get some help?

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend

What are your actual skills?

PS: searching Swiss job sites would obviously help you to understand the market here. It's not complicated.

Re: Occupations in demand in Switzerland

Welcome to the Forum Taksis.

You are just too late. Millions of people have moved here and found jobs in their learned trades. There are no more unskilled / semi skilled permanent jobs left!

Only skilled tradesmen are required http://www.indeed.ch/Stellen?q=Mitarbeiter&l=Schweiz

You might find seasonal farm work being offered in Latvia, but it is hard to find here, as it is all organised by eastern European gang-masters.

Why are you assuming the OP is unskilled or semi skilled? Because he/she is from Latvia?

No, because he/she wants to know what jobs are in demand.

That is a typical inquiry from someone either just starting a career, or looking to retrain and start a new career in a different field, i.e. one where he/she has no skills yet.

Typical inquiry from someone with a skilled trade/profession: "I'm a plumber/nurse/accountant/teacher with X years' experience, are there many vacancies in Switzerland in my field?"
