Boot fair / market type thing anywhere, ever???

I have a house full of crap, over the years we've had 2 houses on the go and now everything is all here, I need to get rid of lots of stuff, lots of brand new gear that's never been opened let alone used etc etc gadgets that I don't use anymore lots of gear that's just too good to give away to a brocki or throw away, In the UK it would be perfect car boot sale fodder.

Seem to have (literally) a hundred USB mains chargers ???

So what are my options here?

In my area, there are at least 4 different groups on Facebook to sell and buy stuff on a private basis. Got rid of quite a few extras that way. One for Neuchâtel, 1 for my valley, 1 for the town across the border, and one for Yverdon.

There are flea markets here in Basel where you can rent a stall.. I'm sure its not unique to this area

There's a monthly one in Schänis... not sure how many people would really go there for all their USB charging needs though.

It is going to take time and patience but advertise it and be willing to ship things. There are enough websites where you can advertise free of charge. That is what has worked for us. It is a long process. If items are free, there are still "buyers" who are willing to pay the postage and something on top for your time and trouble.

I know there are those who think what is the point in offering something for free? For me it is about not disposing of it. I recycle what I can but I still prefer it when items can find a new home.

There are plenty of 'car boot sales' around (certainly around here) you just have to know when and where.
Personally I find it much easier to load everything up and take it to sell all in one go than to faff about selling online.

Maybe you'll find something near you in one of these links?
