If you don't have a nagging conscience about this issue, then what kind of other types of slaughter to you feel acceptable in a modern society?
slaughter of vocal vegetarians and vegans.

See yourself, a video how it is done.

If you eat beef and think that is disturbing, better stop eating it and become a vegetarian right now. Meet means an animal has to die, that is the reality.
interesting. if you look and listen carefully, you can see that the man says "it's coming right for us!" in Swiss German before shooting the cow.

The cow was belligerent and resisted arrest. You could see how it was threateningly eyeing and earlobing the bystanders. The officer clearly had no other choice but to use deadly force.

DO I sense some Ernest Hemingway quotes coming this way?

such as ...

Quote:
There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games

There is something to be said about killing your own food, or at least being aware where it came from. Witnessing it should give one a better grasp of reality. Hunters tell me it gives one a better connection to the animal. Facebook's Zuckerberg is said to only eat meat he has himself killed.

I like that scene from "The Gods must be Crazy", where the bushmen apologizes to the killed animal, explaining that it is for the survival of his family, and how the animal is put to good use, appreciated, and its life carried on to their lives.

Avatar.

You'll need to work on your mystical connection between hunter and hunted clichés.

I order it medium rare on the inside, a little charred on the outside, for the same mystical effect.
