How will you participate with your "location SZ"?
You impoverished loser have one residence only?

The biggest drawback to a "special" number plate is everybody knows exactly where you are, all the time
Ummm...I think they might know that from seeing your Ferrari P4/5*

Re: TIS - This Is Switzerland

And it ended at 226K...or the base price of a new Bentley Continental GT, a new 911 Turbo S or half of a cheap apartment here in Rüebliland.

I'm impressed of the efficiency of tax collection.

Sonds nice at first, but what's their actual use without a presentable number?

Re: TIS - This Is Switzerland

Went to a birthday party yesterday afternoon without the dogs because it was in a small apartment.

Got home and a WhatsApp arrived with a photo of us walking home and the question "Is everything OK with your dogs"(in the local language, of course).

Re: TIS - This Is Switzerland

I feel like I've been in Switzerland too long. Bought an item online with a 4 figure value:

1. Just paid asking price without bargaining
2. On arrival to pick up the item, the guy handed over a cardboard box - I just stuck it on the bike without checking
3. The guy spontaneously reduced the price by 5 CHF without prompting (presumably to avoid having the peasant task of dealing with coins)

In Hong Kong, the SOP when buying electronics even at a brick and mortar store was to test the item and never let it out of sight even during payment as there were cases of store workers pretending to put the item back in the box and bag it out of view by the counter, when in fact, they would replace it with a brick.
