Maybe your 10 month old will grow up to be a broker?

Maybe it's the 10 year old posting on where to get a new pair of glasses before his mother finds out?

Re: glasses was broked by my ten months old

hhmmm. Where's that quote about not making fun of people because they may not be native English speakers?

@ the OP. If you go to Lorarch, Feldmann is pretty central (http://www.fielmann.de/niederlassung...r-strasse-188/), BUT you need to get there early. It tends to get busy quickly.

When correcting or commenting on the English written by others, take into account the various levels of ability and local variations of the language. Constructive correction or criticism is fine, but pedantry or derision, especially to score points in a debate is not acceptable.
Anyway, have you considered that the person in question might not even be able to see the keyboard properly?! A bit of consideration please...

Re: glasses was broked by my ten months old

There's an opticians in the Rhine Center that have English speaking opticians, and handle the MWST refund well. Don't forget to declare the glasses when you enter Switzerland if they're over 300CHF. You have to pay the Swiss MWST.

For a more complex prescription I've found there's not much in it between Germany and Switzerland.

Re: glasses was broked by my ten months old

Do you need a complete pair of glasses, or can you just replace the lenses/frame, depending what's broken?

Re: glasses was broked by my ten months old

I just went into my local (Swiss) Fielmann because my UK bought sunglasses have a lens that keeps popping out.

The repair charge: zero. I even told them they weren't bought there.

When you say broken, how broken are they? Some repairs are free.
