Re: I smiled because...

I once went to my local mega Migros and asked at the butchers counter if he had any dog bones. He proceeded to the back of the shop and came out with a huge cow leg bone. a proper cow leg bone over a foot and a half long and over 6 inches wide.

He was about to pack the whole thing up for me really, until I asked if he could cut it in pieces (in my best german) which to be honest he did a little grudgingly. But we had a bone a week for a few months.

Here is the uk version, I met a lady in the park and she invited me to her house because she had some bones from the butcher her dog couldn't finish. so I came home with a lovely big bag of bones for my old girl.

So here is my dog enjoying a delicious english bone.

i-smiled-because-img_0058.jpg

The nice lady gave me her phone number, name and address and I've texted her a picture each time of my dog enjoying one of her delicious bones, thanking her, only two pics so far...

thats not too weird is it?

Re: I smiled because...

I smiled yesterday when I watched the movie 《Sing》 with my two best friends, which was really a wonderful time! We had lunch, we went to the cinema like the young girls, we talked about our recently life and it is really fantastic. We haven't been together like this for more than 1 year.

As long as it's only the mailbox.

When you say 'goodies'...can you describe said goodies?

You envy me for my neighbour, don't you?
I usually mean what I say, so it's simply goodies. Saturday I had a sweet bun just in time for breakfast in there, last night it was some very exquisite chocolates. And all very easy going: I get a sms "mailbox", I go check the mailbox for my goodies.

Re: I smiled because...

I have some exotic little tree in my tiny garden. It blossoms literally over night - from zero to full bloom.
Knowing that tree for 10 years now, it's almost like a game ("bet you don't know when I'll do it" )
Although I had a hunch last night I would not have bet on it - when I woke up this morning it knocked me out with it's beauty.
I tell you, it laughs at me. LOL.

Re: I smiled because...

Some days ago, when I went to backyard at my home for smoking a cigarette, I´ve got a surprise on the wall - a wonderful owl under the tree to rest and to refresh against the hotter day. She and I have stayed regarding each other for a long moment, I earned a beautiful day.

I smiled because throughout my singing boothcamp I actually managed to sing the entire Bach's mass without the sheet music. And because smiling when hitting the top nots makes them more accurate.

...because I just read that today's generation of keyboard kids don't know how to pull a slingshot correctly and the only shoes they can wear are velcro.

I thought that being able to pull a slingshot correctly was a milestone of child development...how things change.

Re: I smiled because...

When I spent my vacations in Buenos Aires, with my two sisters, We had a big problem to understand Spanish. I've tried to comunicate in English, Portuguese and French, but it didn't work!! Argentinians didn't know these languages!

We've decided to take a bus to arrive to the hotel and it was terrible. The driver tried to explain us how to pay the ticket in the machine situated in the bus. We didn't understand nothing what he said!

Finally, our ticket was so expensive for our destination and we got off the bus many stops before, so we needed to walk to 20 minutes under a coldy day.
