It was Tabasco flavoured.

Happy Canada Day folks. I hung the flag out so that everyone on the train going by can feel the love today. Can you see me smiling now?

I can!
I am grinning because the charity fundrising we do in the UK has changed the target where it is needed more. Good purpose, makes the work easier.

Wouldn't it be GREAT if it were not "same ol', same ol'" in the finals this time?
I know you all would like that - although only because "anybody but the French". |

In the land of watches it was the position of the sun that just alerted me of the afternoon almost being over.
23.50h, I'm still outside. Wonderful peace and quiet (not the normal here), 22°C and I seem to tolerated that - low - temperature. Only one mosquito-bite yet.

People keep asking me for book recommendations..Because lots of people read around me. Because I finally have the time to read books not related to professional interests, too.

Butterflies been dancing 'round my head. Two inches closer and they would touch my cheek.
I've already stopped moving when they approach - so they might dare to caress me soon |

My lovely, ditsy nephew had a house party last night for his daughter's 14th birthday. He made a mini Glastonbury in the back garden with house tents and fairy lights so that a dozen girls could all sleep out, as requested. Then he panicked and spent all night awake in a garden chair in case anyone abducted them #proudpapa

I registered to get a new passport 10 hours ago.
I can go there to have it made on Friday!
What happened to 'long waiting periods' and 'summer is a bad time to do this'?
Wow, they managed to impress me.
Maybe it just irks them that there are still people who don't have a biometric passport. Oh gosh, EF-attitude is rubbing off on me. |
