You mean the extreme reverb?
Yeah. Killed an amazing alto solo Händel and other baroque stuff already curl the melodies in constant scales, wrong placement in the cathedral multiplied it even more.

But....we sang to the world! It was amazing. And long. And tough.

Did you get the banjo?

Oh, yeah...today I smiled because the distributor that I ordered it from around a year ago just told me that my custom bass will be shipped from Canada next month ! Yeah !
No banjo yet, Santa's waiting for the instructions I am trying to figure whether 4, 5 or 6 strings and an accoustic/electr or both will suit me. Ya know.

Congrats on the cannuck bass, although a year? Seriously?

I found a double bass prof. Psyched about this. I'd always prefer a classical musician on an electric bass than vice versa.

I have to laugh, when mature adults who work with teenagers can't help but 'speak the lingo' to be 'cool' and it becomes almost incomprehensible

I smiled because...

That‘s reminded me of a teacher in my school who did the same. He was forever known as Mr ‘Call-Me-Dave’.

Because the way folks anonymously talk online certainly must be the way they work.

It may not feel that way yet but the solar bulbs in the garden definitely show the days are getting brighter.

Re: I smiled because...

Yesterday morning, in the UK, my friend's cat brought home an unexpected present and left it on the kitchen table She brought home a scone, complete with jam and cream, and wrapped in clingfilm. My friend has posted an apology via the local residents facebook page, but I reckon we need more cats that bring home cake.

Better to be determindly "uncool" and revel in it: all the better to surprise them with later.

Smiling because Littlest Rufus is beaming at me.

Ah. Nappygeddon. Still, a beautiful smile is a thing worth having.

Re: I smiled because...

I got the impression this week a lot of people were online who have signed on many years ago but have not been seen for a long time.

Could that have something to do with the "change your password"-email from EF?

Yea! That's why I chose it.

But since uploading seems to be screwed in one place.

Minou and Emma, cat and dog foundlings - have been getting closer and closer- over last 2 years, but tonight, for the first time, Minou has pushed his back right into her belly- and they make just one ball of furr. Gorgeous.

Lovely. One never forgets a good teacher.
Not on FB myself, but got my husband to look for a former college language teacher and tutor, she's not there. So in my case its me who is (still) wondering, 25 years on.
I think meeting a former teacher (or other way round) is a very emotional moment.

We gave all our change to amazing didgerrydoo and Swiss drums players...They were magnificent and so weirdly ambient. If you, dreadlocky guys, are reading this, shout out from EF! Post your stuff here! X

Anything to do with screwing - turn to the Chinese. You're the one who informed us about that.

The neighbour's huge dog just went by wearing a collar with a few big, bright, green lightbulbs. Not only a good idea, it looked pretty cool.
