Because it's sunny... and the world outside is slowly blooming. The birds sounds like R2-D2 and seem thankful for the water I put out for them in the garden. I have my health and so does everyone that I love (for now at least). I hope it's the same for you...

Re: I smiled because...

A friend of mine in the UK got his delivery from the Asda supermarket. The van driver was wearing a mask, which it turned out he'd bought himself. So my friend nipped back into the house, came out with a packet of masks and handed them over to the driver. And gave him a £10 tip.

Re: I smiled because...

... because I realised it is exactly 50 years since I left my Swiss village to go and work in London for 6 months - which turned into 40 years.

Re: I smiled because...

I already got the information on my new rent.
I was hoping I'd have to hurry to change the money transfer order, but it's only starting in July.
Still, she was fast. Probably getting everything out of the way so the moment corona is over she can go out and have some fun.

Re: I smiled because...

A young friend from London posted 'If you can't go outside, go inside' - talking of course about meditation, breathing, etc- so I realised I was very lucky to have a garden. so here goes 'I am going inside- outside' b r e a t h e/Gi Gung and acupressure + sunshine.

Re: I smiled because...

My old manager from the UK, has decided to make videos of himself dancing for a friend who's a nurse on the covid ward at Stepping Hill hospital, Stockport. I have his wife's permission to share this. I apologise in advance....but he was my boss

Re: I smiled because...

...now I am seeing people the way they really are.

And so are the CEO’s. I think after this is over there will be a re-shuffling of jobs and fancy titles.

Interesting how the “tough nuts” are melting away. What a bunch of cowards some people are.

Time to go back to the city... lol

Re: I smiled because...

A little brain teaser for you. There are 27 figures of speech in this picture. I've only found 19. Can anyone find all 27?

I've also got 19. The gap that's bothering me most, is: What is the moorhen doing on his head?
