Beautiful sunny day, we walked the dogs around 6pm.
The local vicar was playing his trombone out of an open upstairs window, played some songs where I knew the English words and could sing along.
Then walked past the local posh restaurant which had a kitchen window open offering takeaway, I ordered reasonably priced Fischknusperli and Pommes for tomorrow.
Then home for Hörnli, Zweibel sauce and Wurst from the BBQ.

Speed bonnie boat like a bird on the wing
Onward the sailors cry.
Carry the lad that's born to be king
Over the sea to Skye

"The Skye Boat Song" is a late 19th-century Scottish song recalling the journey of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) from Benbecula to the Isle of Skye as he evaded capture by Government troops after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.

Tonight's grapejuice and full moon... transported me back, back, back to simple camping in mellow, warm Toscana.

... of the full moon at 4:30 this morning. For some reason I woke up a bit before 4, and knew it would be at its fullest at 4:30ish, so stayed up to see it and try to take a decent photo.
My phone is not good at night photos of the moon ... or even day photos of the moon.

the house martins are back- and made straight for their small window into the barn- they know where home is and both hobbies were sitting on the massive fir tree in the Church grounds as I opened the shutters.
