I was in Migros tonight and I met a German lady who taught a meditation course I was on in early 2018. Weird thing is I was just saying to my OH yesterday I wondered what had happened to her and it appears she lives 5 mins from me. Spooky!

I saw in local news that the novel The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas, by Brazilian writer, Machado de Assis, is among books more read in United States during that pandemy.
As Portuguese Language teacher, as well as Literature on Portuguese Laguage, I reccommend this book, it's amazing, funny and wonderful novel.

A neighbour is very happy, this is how he let us know. (There is no proper translation for a Jauchzer, so I deliver a sound-sample). |

I smiled because the free communal plant pads for herbs and veggies have really picked up, they are little jungles now. And the commune has added a giant chess board and canvas beach seats.

I smile a lot now-a-days because...
Now, instead of hiring people the boss likes, and keeping the said useless souls the boss now has to hire properly qualified people and is now firing the ones that he/she likes because he/she has no choice.
Really depressing for the boss and it is getting to be real fun watching the assholes disappear.
COVID-19 is a bummer but finally I don't have to work all the time with assholes but rather with types that know how to behave and control themselves.
This virus has exposed so many total idiots that we’re hiding behind wimp managers.

Went to Lidl 'cause they got my chocolate on special sales again.
A woman was doing some kind of unconscious ballet with her trolley around the veggie-area, a dad and his tiny daughter in the trolley were singing songs together while getting their shopping done.
To forestall the grumps on EF: No it was not loony day, everybody was obviously very relaxed and in a good mood. Made a change!
On the way home I tried to remember if we ever noticed back then how terribly Bob Dylan was out of tune - and not only when singing but with his chords as well? Maybe we were just too stoned to realize.

Because we went surfing really high in the mountains and on the descend couldn't get cows out of the route in multiple places. It was lovely.

I was kissed by a butterfly today. It first circled my head and arms for a while, then hovered next to my cheek and fluttered it's wing to my skin. That must have been two seconds if not three.
I'm still in awe about this experience.

Card games with the kids ... first myself with the eldest and youngest, then my wife & I with the middle and youngest. Fun!
In case you're interested it's called Skyjo, and you can have up to 8 players - and no need to hold a lot of cards, you pick up a card and play it. Simple!

Because this morning in the forest I learned a random fact that squirels pick and eat bird eggs and baby birds. It is a bit...mean. Never pictured them with other food than pine cones or nuts and seeds.
