I'd love that. I'd prefer six more weeks of the weather we've had the last few days, though - a bit of rain, a fair bit of sun, and temps between 16 & 22. Perfect for me!

Oh, and another thing that made me smile was having dinner in a garden courtyard of which I have recently (in the last two days!) secured the use ... I have to carry everything down three (short) flights of stairs and around three-quarters of the building to get there, but it's worth it. It feels like it's about half the size of my apartment!

Because it finally feels like summer is coming... or like it is already here. My son and his friend played in the sprinkler today while I laid in the sun for a while to boost my vitamin D. Then we grilled for dinner and ate outside on the terrace. It was a perfect Sunday. I hope everyone else had a nice one, too.

The kids don't have to wear masks in the classroom - so no reminders for those who have "forgotten" or "it slipped" any more! It will also make it easier to work out who's whispering in a lesson ...

Re: I smiled because...

Second AZ jab yesterday when back in UK so that's me jabbed up a while

Slight headache about the only side effect so far same as the first time - arm isn't even too sore so a bit of paracetamol and I'm good to go

I came across this yesterday, when tending my tomatoes:

My first ever. It had an abnormal long stem and knocked at my knee as if saying "hey, I was meant for you".

Using the - as we all know useless - search function I came across this thread. I missed it back in 2020.
It contains links that lead to some hilarious threads!

Next lock-down, try this one.

Re: I smiled because...

Yesterday I noticed that the cable entering my oil-filled radiator - in use daily these days - was ripped. The thing works wonderfully but this didn't look very safe. First world problem.

I decided to replace the entire cable, added a make-shift strain-relief by use of a ziptie and dare I say, my wiring looks neater/more professional than it originally was (the earth looked rather adventurous when I opened the item ).

Big smile, love that kind of stuff, get very few chances to do it after all complete items in smd technique are the normal these days. Hope my buddy will keep me warm for an other 30 years.
