I noticed that most of my students had taken to chewing gum in class, which I couldn’t see because of the mask… many trips to the bin occurred during that final school week with the masks off! :msnmad:

bossybaby reminded me of acmilan on the food-thread and I went there looking at old posts. That made me smile .... omtatsat with his endles egg-pictures .... my cheese-cake project that went on and on and on and everybody patiently let me get on (and on) with it.

That thread should be revived, bossybaby you're doing a good job keeping it alive so keep going (on and on if necessary :D)

Re: I smiled because...

Last week my sister forwarded a handwritten letter on that was sent to my house in Scotland. OH convinced himself it was someone enquiring if we were considering selling (people renting the house opposite have asked neighbours before).
It came in the post this morning, appears a couple who are Jehovah's Witnesses have recently moved in and they can't go door knocking so are sending letters and pamphlets in the hope they'll find someone to convert / save, just hope they don't think they have a captive audience as it's a private gated development :D

We had a really good laugh because as well as back at home I've been doorstepped by JW's when we lived in Kleinbasel and also stopped by them in Malta when I was on holiday, there's no escape :msnshock:
My sister said what a waste of a £1.70 stamp, I said she could have spent the money on an ice cream. She's in London this week and sent me a pic of an ice cream cone she'd just bought, it was £4.50!!!

Working part-time (mornings only) is more refreshing than I thought it would be. Not exactly holidays, but pretty good.

Once, a couple of decades ago (almost three! :o ) I was travelling in southern India (Tamil Nadu, mostly in the city of Coimbatore) and in the four or five weeks we were there, we saw only seven other white-skinned people anywhere other than at the airport or train station - and they were a group of JWs, dressed exactly the same as they would be here. They stuck out even more than we did, because we were mostly wearing clothes similar to the people we were visiting.

It's ok. My boss used to call our office fridge an 'ice-box'.

I smiled coz I got to play a board game called Pandemic. I like the fact that players don't compete against one another but as a team (each different role and powers) against the pandemics.

I have (and have played) that one, and friends of mine have played two legacy versions (1 & 2), in which it's a more complex and longer game, but you only get to play it once.

Nooo, I like losing to smart people.

I\'ll send you a link. You can think about your moves while doing chin-ups. I usually do during squats and push ups :D
