Re: I smiled because...

I smiled today because I went to the office after a week long absence and it felt so good to be "home" amongst my fellow Microsoft employees

God I love my work, best job ever!

Re: I smiled because...

Last night in bed, I was lulled to sleep by the oh so soothing, drowzy tinkling sounds from the bells of a desultory family of goats that have just taken up residence not 10 yards from my apartment window.

How could anyone ask for more.... hours after hour of tuneful dischord interspersed with the loud bleats of perky progeny pining parental piety.

Magical

Mikee

Re: I smiled because...

I like to smile.

Yeah, like that -->

It always makes me feel better when I've got that HUGE smile on my face.
I know I look a bit ridiculous, but well, nobody's watching me....

And I saw 5 little eggs in my bluetits' house, on my window. Mum and dad out for dinner so I had a look.

Made me smile even more

I smiled because... I just had a lovely cup of tea and a plate of crackers with peanut butter.

... although I might not be smiling when it is discovered that I've scoffed all the peanut butter...

...my dog chased the neighbor's missing kitten back over the fence into her garden. She and her kids were so happy to have it back that she sent over a yummy fresh-cooked Turkish dinner (we have no idea what it was, but it was delicious!).

My plants are happy and my rhododendron looks beautiful, and my tree poppy is about to bloom. And I'm happy.

Re: I smiled because...

Tomorrow is my bro's birthday so we have a nice gateau to eat today.
My mum put the box outside on the border of the window.

And the black and white cat came, jumped on the border of the window and started to open the box....

The gateau is now in the fridge....

hmmm, that's why he can't catch my female cat, he needs to eat more....

Good job there, MrVertigo! Hope you provided a suave Bond-type pose.

I'm smiling 'coz the sun is shining over here. Oooops, it just went behind a small cloud. Nevermind. My mood is seldom affected by weather. Always cranky!
