Re: I smiled because...

Ok, so I have just been called "a cute Swiss bumpkin" by a couple of loud yank retired folks who sat right across of me on the train, stared at my knitting and proceeded commenting loudly on everything. It made me smile when they asked very slowly and making me lip read where the airport stop was and I answered in English. I am not sure if I should be offended on behalf of friendly and nice multilingual Swiss Heidi chicks or me, the ultra cosmo urban creature..

I guess, as my husband swiftly put it "my wife has finally made it in Switzerland.."

Re: I smiled because...

Because I feel good and happy today. Last days were quite difficult.

Even if I'm still alone and without friends.

Congratulations, bravo. Perso I really enjoyed being called a Junior - this has not happened to me in a long time, and didn't last long, sadly.

... a package containing a cookie cutter in the shape of a Labrador, among other things, arrived yesterday.

Thanks, Crumbs!

...quite; which means you'll be getting an invitation to get outta here and register somewhere deep and meaningful where true souls meet and the sincerest form of flattery is not getting a PM that (and I quote - "I'm gonna get you mutha..."). The charm (and spelling).

I managed a 22.5 km bike ride this morning after a few weeks off due to a hand injury.

I just got a elbow twisting injury from my stationary spinning bike. I did 15km in one hour last night I getting back into it. I smiled when I saw my husband get off the bike, sore, even though he has commandeered my padded cycling shorts. I have to stick a cushion down my pants.

I smiled because of your post, imagining myself getting of the bike after nicking the missus' shorts and remembering the pain.

Re: I smiled because...

Long story, but basically slipped and fell under my own car, got very bruised trying to get out, cursing away, but now I think it is funny.
