And it also means I've lost ten percent of my body weight, which doctors say is where you should start seeing health benefits of the weight loss too.

Let us know how to keep one's mind off food and what sort of exercise helped most. (I need to lose 2kg by next April.)
Hope you don't feel too hungry though.
You are one determined young woman. Brava!

I smiled because I enjoyed a lovely day at home; helped to make some cookies; started to tidy the pile of papers which has been building up in the spare bedroom since 2005; ended my four month exile from the kitchen; rediscovered a bed which had been lost since at least April; enjoyed several cups of tea; and had a lovely lie in. Not necessarily in that order, though.
Feeling really rather chilled. Mmmmmm.

I met some really sound people by doing that, people who have remained good friends ever since.
It's always a good idea to widen your social circle, and she might have a lovely lonely daughter... |

I smiled because... I'm making cookies with Miss Pickles aka Miss L-P for the first time: Sugar-Almond Cookies (in 9 gazillion froms that are impossible to decorate) and Spritz Cookies with an adult twist. But, the real winner is Macaroon Kisses* that made us dance with a "darn, those are good".
I don't think she is really into cookie baking & told her so: "I'm only half American, what do you expect?". "Well Sweety, since I'm thinning my veins with Rioja, you are off the hook.".
We are having really having a great time even if she had no idea what the rolling pin was for and one Chihuahua is covered with flour (Lulu) and it will probably be easier to move than clean the kitchen... who cares? We've had a night to remember!
* had egg whites, needed to use them.

So yer never know!

The company Christmas party was great fun, I have muscle ache from about four hours of pretty solid dancing and absolutely no headache from the six hours of pretty solid drinking. Win. And I'm about to spend the day cooking and baking.
