I'm smiling now because, as I type, my cat has just climbed into my lap and wants to curl up |

I smiled this morning when a rude cyclist , who yelled at me in Swiss German for going too slowly downhill , did not see that traffic had banked up in front of him and crashed into a car further down . He was unhurt ( not sure about his pride ) and I smiled again when I wound down my window to say 'gruezi' before driving off ......

That has had the knock-on effect of making me smile, too. |

I smiled because I dashed out of the office to grab a sandwich and eat at my desk, and I bumped into my neighbors who are taking a stroll with their little daughter. Their smiles and their baby girl's smile made me smile and took just a little stress out of my life.

I smiled because the bench where we sit to eat lunch every day is a favourite fly-by fast-food pick-up spot for the local birds..and every day they politely wait until we've sat down and then one will fly down and stand next to us and chirp in a persuasive way in manner of 'oh go on, just a little crumb for me' and we give him some, and then two seconds later the next one flies down and indicates that he'd be most obliged if we'd give him some too..and I just love the way they chirp and the incline their heads, as though they are waiting for your reply!it's a daily habit now, and it makes me smile every day |

And some people don't do that, they just hold it all in. I hope you will soon have or are already having the occasional moment when you catch yourself not thinking about it all and not feeling guilty about that either. I smile every time I see you join in light-hearted silliness on the board...just because. And your skeleton avatar amuses me too, I find myself walking away from the computer exactly like that. *doing doing doing*

I am smiling because my son his alive, earlier he was chocking on a strawberry, and could not breath luckily i could get to him on time, and help him, or he could of died , after i had hit him hard on the back bent over, i held him for 20 minutes, and he never normally sits on my knee for that long, so i am grateful my son is still here with me .
