...because my dear English MIL has spent the last fifteen minutes playing that Youtube video of twin babies having an argument, over and over and over, volume as high as it will go.
Do you reckon she is hinting at something?
edit: now she's moved on - somebody's adowwable lithping chewwub singing "I'm a Little Teapot"...

My friend living in London is here for the weekend and she brought me two dozen cadbury easter creme eggs as well as a few boxes of the mini creme eggs! What an angel!

p.s. not a real Dr. so don't ask Dr.Who? This is a serious question.
And I smiled because someone sent me this:

Hastings Pier has been successful in its bid for National lottery funding for restoration! | Quote: | | | | Im delighted to be able to tell you that Hastings Pier & White Rock Trust have been successful in our Heritage Lottery Fund application. The Peoples Pier has an exciting future.
We have battled against the odds, in a Catch-22 situation where we couldnt achieve ownership without funding, or funding without ownership, since the pier first closed in 2006. As a community trust we always knew we couldnt walk away and we have become known for our dogged persistence. Now our greatest asset can be reborn and thrive for another 100 years. | | | | | There is a long way to go before the pier is fully rebuilt but this is a great start Hastings Pier destroyed by fire |

The one time I was in England I stopped in Brighton for lunch the day the Palace Pier caught fire (2003). Exactly 10 years before that I happened to be in New Orleans driving past the historic Fair Grounds when it caught fire and burned to the ground.
I wonder where I should go in 2013? |
