Which is the cheapest hairdresser in Zurich?

Long story short: I keep my head shaved. Yes, it is easy and yes, can do at home. My shaver is in a container on board of a big ship on it's way to Europe... so: Where could I go in the meantime and not pay 50CHF for a 5 min job?

Thanks!

Re: Which is the cheapest hairdresser in Zurich?

Media Markt - they have loads on display - if you're quick you should be done before security drag you out.

There are a number of Media Markts around Zurich - should be OK until the container arrives

Re: Which is the cheapest hairdresser in Zurich?

I was walking back from the Transa Outlet on Josefstrasse to HB and there was a place advertising 27 CHF for mens haircuts.

Not sure whether it was on Josefstrasse, Neugasse or Zollstrasse and haven't used them, but the price stuck out!

I'm very satisfied with Tablo (http://www.coiffeur-tablo.ch). 25 CHF for a men's haircut.

Since we're talking about hairdressers in Zürich, how much do you guys think I'd have to pay to dye my hair around here?

PS: I have lots of hair and it's really long x)

In short - too much. 50-100+ bucks. If you have long hair you often automatically pay way more than short haired people - even if it's just a cut.

Get a friend who is careful to help you and do it yourself - after testing the product on a small area of your skin - this'll cost you 20-30 chuffs.

I already go for "number zero... the small shaver" in order to get as close to Kojak as possible.

Yeah I tried doing it myself once or twice... it didn't go so well because I'm never so sure when it comes to choose the tone I want. Sometimes it just doesn't go well with my natural color. I like to dye my hair ginger but it doesn't go well with just any ginger tone... so I gave up trying it myself and I did it in a hairdresser in Portugal but now I need to do it again and I'm not going to Portugal any time soon x)

I guess I can try it myself once more, maybe with some help..
thank you for your answer

Re: Which is the cheapest hairdresser in Zurich?

Miro's, in Haringastrasse, in old town behind HB. Very friendly guys, offer student discount and i think still 23chf for basic cut. I pay more to have my hair washed after (those small bits from the trimmer itch me like crazy). Only problem is wading through all the prostitutes to get there.

There is Toni coiffure near Albisriederplatz which does men's hair cut for CHF 20.
