Re: Sugar waxing

What do you mean by a bad job?
Last year I heard that sugar waxing is ''in'' and it is gentle with sensitive skin (like mine). So I went for a sugar wax...on my face... It took more time for the salon lady to wax my whole face and usually it should have lasted really just few minutes. Either she was slow or I don't know.
Anyway, my face looked horrible for a week. I never had such a bad reaction. Ever. My face was red, my skin was very irritated and I had some things that looked like huge mosquito bites. I know someone else that used sugar wax on the body and the irritation was pretty bad. I will never do it again.

Re: Sugar waxing

Well it was not a problem with skin irritation. It was more that it was a bit patchy in places where she missed . Around the top of the legs she hardly did at all. Maybe she was afraid of doing men. Anyhow compared to the last time I had it done at another place-and paid 25 CHF less -it was quite bad.

For that price one expects something professional.

Facial skin is pretty sensitive. But the sugar waxing is much better than hot wax.

Look here. http://www.shaba.ch/methode.html
