Oh, she intends to stay and get citizenship. Cool:

AFAIK, she made her own fortune, so respect. Hopefully, she does something to liven things up around here a bit .

Welcome Paris and good luck! PM for parties, please.
Well, traded on the family name and connections at least. Started modelling with the Trump agency then went on from there. And daddy Richard has helped too.

"Hilton has also been an executive producer on several of the television series featuring his famous daughters.[9]"

Lost her own fortune, too.

The Spar was out of post-it note pads last week.

Co-incidence?

Re: Paris Hilton...

You mean the Hilton Inheritance? That looks like a taxation strategy, embellished with rumours.. That's pretty common in the US, and I'm sure she saw that coming. I think it would be a huge taxation hit if it were to pass on to individuals, unless the recipient is a citizen of another country?

American billionaire parents will typically try to instil work ethics and values onto their children instead of lavishing them with everything. The problem with most such rich kids is that they often don't accomplish much, and don't always develop to their potential. I thought Paris has done well with how she parlayed what she had to what she does. It really isn't common, and she seems to have had a blast doing it.
