I'm sorry but British people just never say "freakin", ever.
Either your profile is incorrect or there is something else wrong.

| | Re: What do guys want... Valentines Day | Quote: | | | | | I did that once in Romania - with a Latin American woman who was a work colleague. We were both working late out there.
Upon returning to our hotel after work, I asked the hotel receptionist to book us a table at a nearby restaurant.
"Ah, a romantic meal with your wife on Valentine's Day"replied the man behind reception.
"She's not my wife", I replied.
"Even better!" was his response.

I'm making my husband brownies for valentines day, mainly because anything I buy him will be what Jim Jeffries said. So brownies.

But after seeing what that comic got for their 18th birthday, I'm rather jealous.
So to my enigmatic valentine out there: A nice big red firetruck would be sweet---with all the bells and whistles!

| | Re: What do guys want... Valentines Day | Quote: | | | | | Other than the obvious, are guys even interested in getting something on Valentines Day?
I get my OH special chocolate (sugar addict) and littles gifts when I see something he might like.
Have I been sucked into this Hallmark Holiday? Or should I do something?
Full Disclosure: I've been told I'm getting breakfast in bed. | | | | | I would be happy with this |

| | Re: What do guys want... Valentines Day | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | I tried to encourage my husband to want a fancy watch for our anniversary he just wasn't into it. I ended up getting him a significantly cheaper one and told him I'd add significantly cheaper ones to his watch collection (currently at a whooping 2) regularly instead. He doesn't understand why anyone would need more than 1 watch. Maybe instead of brownies ill get him a Swatch.

You can only wear one at a time so as long as it is a reliable watch that tells the time you only need one! Otherwise it is just a oiece of jewellery that is a waste of money

Which is what I tried to tell my husband. He wasn't interested in a trafional or quailty watch. Hence the collection of crappy watches.

See above. But actually having more than one watch is quite nice. If you wear a casual watch with professional attire then you look like a noodle, and vise versa, but if you're happy with your one rolex then I salute you sir!

Oh how I wish he'd want a rolex, my life is so hard, my husband is such a pill. |
