Go to a doctor and have your thyroid checked/and or for depression?

It´s been a grey winter, makes people craving for sun to cheer up again

And if it is nothing like that, try to meet up with people?

Get out. Move. Particularly for depression, a moving target is harder to hit.

I meant a lot more basic than that. As it is Sunday you can't take your recycling to the bins... You know that construction site/park/shop/church/building you pass on the way home from work that has always caught your eye? Go there and look at it.

Make a trip around switzerland (9 Uhr Karte zum Halbtax is currently
only 29 sfr), or to cities in other countries.
Call Family or Friends, go to the cinema.

Set up a meetup group or a social event for something that interests you. Other people will follow along and you'll find like-minded friends and meet interesting new people.

Do get checked for vitamin levels, iron level, thyroid disorders and possible depression. If (hopefully) none of this applies...go back to the prior point. Good luck!

Spam on forums, watch tv series, play videogames... Btw it's normal to have periods where you're just feeling down it will probably solve itself.

Re: What is there to do if you're not interested in anything ?

Ski.

Play piano, ukulele or bass guitar.

Spin your own yarn and make something out of it.

Cook.

Take a large sheet of paper and paint out your feelings.

Ring a bell at your neighbor, ask them if they want to come for your soup/crepes/muffins..

Pick a random word and think about it.

Think about changing your life and small steps you can take starting tomorrow, that give your free time more meaning. Ask yourself if you are bored or unhappy with how things are now.

Plan an event to see Jono McCleery who is playing in CH on the 24th.

Throw a potluck.

Watch a weird and inspirational movie, with somebody you like.

Tell yourself that sometimes not feeling like doing anything is absolutely ok.

Appreciate having free time to think.

Re: What is there to do if you're not interested in anything ?

You have listed some of your interests on your profile. Perhaps we could suggest art galleries or live music pubs? On the other hand, I get it that sometimes we lose interest in things we used to enjoy. What could help is calling up (or better yet meeting) a dear friend. Good company is invaluable.

How's your sex life? Maybe go out and try to get a good one-night-stand!

If not bothered just hire someone for the job, pleasure is pleasure

Alternatively, travel somewhere. Go visit an old friend, a cousin..list goes on.

Re: What is there to do if you're not interested in anything ?

I have been taught a technique to use when I am unhappy about something in my life which might help you.

Imagine that you wake up one morning and your problem / unhappy situation has been solved.

How would you know it has been solved?

Now identify how you would act if it has been solved - and act like that.

The aim of this technique is to focus on a positive solution, rather than the problem.

Another technique is to ask yourself 'How do I feel on a scale of 1-10?' Say you feel a 5. Ask yourself what you need to do to keep yourself feeling a 5, and also how you could move yourself up to a 6 - or 7.

One thing I do to keep myself from feeling down is to make a list of everything I need to do each week, and then underneath that a list of what I would like to do that week. I then tick off each item with a different colour pen as I do it, and I also write down anything else I do during the week - even mundane things like doing my laundry or posting a letter. This helps me when I get the feeling that I haven't achieved anything - I look at all my lists with lots of brightly coloured ink all over them and I know I have done things - even if they haven't been major achievements.

Do some crosswords and puzzles, have a glass of wine or brandy - chill out

Take up some new activity like e.g. tennis and challenge yourself physically
