Swiss girls come across as rude, ignorant and arrogant, but also shy, reserved and prude sometimes.
Swiss girls prudes?

Wow, you really need to get out more.

Even by porn movie standards they are NOT prudes.

Reminds me of our High School math teacher, who, in the Swiss grading system of 1 (= worst) - 6 (= best), never issued a "1". The minimum he gave was a "2", "for ink and paper," as he explained.

To bad I didn't had him as a teacher . Hahahaha

I'd say you're concentrating on things too much and appear needy...No young girl likes that and it's the same the world over rather than a swiss trait.
No woman likes that either.

And no man, for that matter, in the reverse case. Of any age.

I didn't mean prude regarding their behaviour at events or outfits. Events like the street- or lake parade aren't prude and lots of local girls attend these events.

It all comes down to only interacting with their own social circles and not being open to let new people in there and coming across as conservative people with a middle age mentality. Girls on here aren't open to new people and they tend to question you a lot if you're not up to their standards.

So regarding social interaction and being a bit more open - yes they're prude!

Ah, but it does matter.

At your age (that of my children), the social circle matters more for many.

Older, not.

On the other hand, my wife normally went outside of her social circle, as did her sister, even at your age.

Meanwhile, my daughters have normally only dated guys they knew since middle school or earlier!

If I could write my pre 20 year old self a letter I would probably say just 3 things:

1) Learn to distinguish between stuck-up, picky, manipulative, and selfish on the one hand, and discerning and not quite sure of how the whole thing goes on the other. Prefer and be the latter, rather than the former.

2) By your 10 year graduation reunion many of the goddesses you silently worshipped will be radiantly beautiful in the way that pregnant women are. Note how many admit to having had a crush on you.

3) Most of the short fat ones eventually get paired off. The outwardly beautiful ones who would pick and choose in highschool are often well preserved, but exquisitely alone by the 30th year reunion.

My experience says "the outwardly beautiful ones who would pick and choose in highschool" are married with 17 kids by age 25 and the short fat ones have turned into bombshells

I was limiting myself to the list of things that I might just possibly have understood, and grasped the long term significance of.

I might have added "Don't bother investing any money until a company named "Apple" appears, then buy every pennyworth of stock you can possibly afford.", but that would have seemed too cryptic.

Re: The truth about swiss girls and women

One of the main issues I encountered at the place I am currently residing, as well as across the entire country is:

If you have no intact social circle by the time you wanna get to know new people, you're pretty much damned for life in this country. Lots of people suffer from loneliness here, personally I don't.

I don't have any issues to live without having a social circle, but people on here, especially girls around my age find it plain odd that you have absolutely no contacts from the past. It makes you look really weird in this country if you don't have a reputation, many friends, lots of followers on social media and a solid social circle. You need to go the gym now to be even looked at by girls of that age group. You need to follow a trend and look like their idols.

I have no reputation, no friends, and one social media account with 0 friends that is dormant.

So as I said, if you missed the chance to built your own social circle during school days like I did - girls won't even speak to you, let alone being interested in you!

And also social circles are the key to meet new people of my age. If you don't - the game is over!

People- don't make that mistake.

She lives in Redondo Beach.

The one in AG is spoken for.

On the other hand, my wife's daughter is technically free, but only speaks Italian. 5'9", half Vietnamese, 33 years old. And has expensive tastes.

I disagree. You don't need a foo-foo social circle, no foo-foo social-media account....what girls like is confidence and weirdness, well uniqueness. Therefore, be bold, be weird....but mostly be yourself and things will fall into place.

Surefire way of making friends: interests/hobbies

I moved to london by myself at age 17 with no friends/acquaintances whatsoever there at the time.

Went to a few clubs that played music I like and some concerts... Kept seeing the same faces...After the 5th or 6th time a few hellos were exchanged with people...slowly built up to short conversations re: music etc. ...then longer ones...got invited to a couple of parties and so on...this was within the space of a few months...

It was almost 20 years ago and the people I met like that became great friends.

In my experience music scenes (especially niche ones) are a surefire way of meeting people. But the same goes for any hobby or interest.

Is this some kind of social/sociological experiment? For your high school/Matura?

As in: how foreigners react when you say weird things about the country they now live in?

Oh please. I'm older and make new friends all the time. I'm not in touch with ANYONE from primary school, have about one or two friends still that I went to Gymi with and a few I met somewhere along the way between uni and work. Half the people I hang out with regularly I've known for less than 10 years. I've also travelled extensively and have friends - yes, friends, not loose acquaintances - all over the world.

Yes some, maybe even many, Swiss are set in their ways and yes, many don't move locations and continue to hang out with the same people they went to kindergarten with. You can find that anywhere in the world. And obviously, you are just as much one of them as you think that it's "game over" at the proud age of 22.

Stop the pity party and stop blaming others for your lack of ability to build a social circle of sorts. And certainly stop blaming Swiss women (or in your case girls) in general for your lack of social contacts. That's hardly their problem or fault, but yours and yours alone.
