Bumpety bump.

Reminder that a few genevois reprobates are meeting up tomorrow (Friday 16th June, as per Events listing), and we're wondering why the other usual suspects (McTavGE for example) aren't joining us???

Anyone else interested???? We don't bite.

Ay up! Only just read this, have been busy with school exams marking, yodelling rehearsals for the federal competition in Brig on 24th June and hosting my visiting parents for the week! Sorry, meal out already booked so won't be able to join you. Damn! Let's plan one in the Summer holidays.

Re: A reminder!! Geneva Meetup

"Kangaroo" wine chilling in the freezer!! Posh cups purchased. 8 of them!! We can but dream! Would you like red too?

I'll bring a salad the next time. Shall bring a packet of ham. God, that sounds so like i can't even make salads!!

McT - understood. You don't want to see us in broad daylight. The dimmed lights of a Bistro are better....!!! Supposedly, people look much better in muted lighting. I know i do.

Good its not like the other evening with that torrential rain.

Can't find my portable ashtray. And i totally forgot to buy the ham, i thought i had some in the fridge. But i am sure i shan't starve. I'll bring the red wine.. maybe not. Its got a cork. Checklist addition - corkscrew.

Two tram stops - bliss. Keeping an eye on the clock for the Roos in my freezer....

Pretty sure white will be fine, personally I find red a bit heavy in this heat. Plus there aren't that many of us and some will be driving afterwards.

McT... sorry you can't make it, enjoy the family visit and yodeling next weekend. Why don't you sort out the next one???!

Honestly - red would be nice but absolutely not necessary, I agree with Anjela.

Salad is in my fridge soon travelling to Bastions, no stresss.

Mutted lighting with crazy laugh, I do not think we can reproduce that tonight . Next time, MCTav.

Re: A reminder!! Geneva Meetup

Decision made. I shall clink clink along with the Roo wine (which is chilling nicely and not frozen yet) and a cheeky little red. Which has to be drunk because of the cork problem....

I hope someone will be playing a piano in the park.

Re: A reminder!! Geneva Meetup

How nice was that?!! Lovely!!

Next time i shall bring one of my awesome salads... Is it normal for a big tough Glaswegian to bring wine made out of coconuts?!!

Who cares,,, Can't wait till the next time.

I hope you all got home safe and sound. I was thrown off the tram by Anjela!!! In a nice way.

I'm sorry i didn't eat. I have certain dietary things that i have to follow. I know it looks like i just drank copious amounts of wine. I did a bit, a bit more than i should. But, bugger, a nice evening with nice people made my day. I'll probably have a bit of a headache tomorrow. Another, I don't care i am trying to get back my life moments. And forget all the crap for one evening. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart - getting me out and not judging my appearance. Means a lot. Lots. Next etape is taking that f-ing hat off!! Hair grows one inch a month... August. Hats off.

Looking forward to the next time. Hugs to all. xx

Re: A reminder!! Geneva Meetup

Ok, so thanks to everybody coming, we had a great time! One forgot about the busy city in that lovely park..a great picnic, everything worked out magnificently. I needed the break and good company after sitting exams and conferences the entire week, in hot schools.

Patsy - I am glad you could chill a bit, surrounded by people. A nice bunch, too! The only thing was a bit against my planning - you did not eat! *throwing a bit of a teacher's evil eye direction Plainpallais.. It is ok, as long as you had a good time. Hang in there and let us know if you need anything.

We will have a meet up soon again, guys, keep an eye on this place. The weather has been treating us so well.

Thanks for welcoming my lovely local soprano colleague, too, and her son. I hope he got home in a decent hour, one never knows in such a party town Geneva is.

The only thing I did not have the time for, Anjela - make a square or too for DB&MN's community baby blanket..I will, though, this wknd - on my commutes to the uni. Oufff, a bit hard to get up at 6am this morning.

John H - lovely to have met you and you are such an interesting adventurer! Great conversation!

Anjela - it was great to see you again, and yer hb. Thanks for making the trip and the lovely food! Was it mint I tasted in the chicken pie or was the mint from my salad? Yum! Minime loved the exotic british food!

Have a lovely wknd, ya'll. <3

Re: A reminder!! Geneva Meetup

Glad you (and minime) liked the pie; if I'd though so many people would turn up I'd have made a bigger one!
The herb was sage (traditional english sage and onion stuffing), the mint was in your salad.... which was lovely by the way.
