So why are they asking me for my DNA? I don't know anyone who joined ISIS.

They are asking for your DNA to keep on their records in case they have to investigate you for something else as per the previous mention of burglary investigations. It's called Codis.

This may be the reason why he and the police are concerned about the hard drive. Have you told the police about his friend? Perhaps it's all a ruse to find out your friend's connections with ISIS.
I mentioned it to them.

I don't even think he is concerned nor does it have significance or connection to the "missing" hard drive. He's most likely doing things out of malice.

Thanks. My previous comment was in response to Tom's comment.

It was stated in the summons that they need my DNA profile for heir records but my lawyer said that it is absolutely necessary. I will know more by next week .

This isn't how they treat minor criminals, they probably view you as a terrorist.

I remembered the time he was boasting about his friend who joined ISIS. He was also fond of telling stories where he breaks people's bones and beat them bloody. Do these information have any significance?
Did I call it, or did I call it?

From your Codis-link:
<<Forensic DNA profiles are stored and processed in CODIS, the central DNA profile database (Combined DNA Index System). Operating standards are governed by the law. Only the DNA laboratory and the DNA Single Point of Co-ordination that operates the database have any knowledge about the DNA profile. Profiles are only compiled if they meet the legal and quality requirements. A communications platform developed specifically for the purpose of the analysis guarantees secure data transfer.>>
Cute. As someone I know would say.

So you mentioned that guy's possible ISIS connection to the police. Was that before or after they came up with the DNA thing?

It sounds like you should have the law on your side, i find it hard to imagine the situation where a missing hard drive in a shared house escalates into a police search unless the accuser is implying more, or maybe has a friend in the police department, if you are in the clear, you should fully expect some recompense

LOL. This is not TV. Swiss Police work is slow. Do not expect anything in the next few months.

Yeah, Donald Trumpo barred them from US entry (or something similar, probably)

What a strange thread, someone apparently needs some guidance or at least emotional support, and yet one of the loudest voices in reply offers nothing but sarcasm and poorly veiled antagonism. How hard is it to either lend some sympathy of just ignore the thread, rather than be an ass?
